CPE is the study of design, analysis and application of computer systems. Coursework offers a balanced examination of hardware, software and hardware-software tradeoffs and an extensive understanding of the computing process. The program provides a strong foundation in both electrical engineering and software engineering.
Students in the Computer Engineering degree program will develop valuable skills in circuit design, analysis, test and verification and will be exposed to the latest technologies. Our curriculum also focuses on developing communication skills, the ability to work in a team setting and engage in lifelong learning to enhance technical and professional growth. Through hands-on, project-based learning, graduates are given the tools they need to bring innovative ideas and a problem-solving approach to the challenges they will face in their careers.
Students have the opportunity to develop their own areas of specialization in areas such as VLSI and solid state, communication systems, robotics and embedded system and sensors, actuators and control systems.
