Academic Advising

Academic advisors at Cogswell College serve as professional mentors and academic counselors. As mentors, they help students make the connection between class work and the opportunities and requirements of a professional career. Students can bring portfolio and resume questions to their advisors, as well as seek advice on internships and career opportunities. As academic counselors, advisors help students to make the most of their college career. This can range from giving advice on which course to take to showing how to improve the quality of their work in the classroom and on projects. We recommend that each student visits his/her advisor at least once per semester.
