The Cogswell Polytechnical College Library is a small but well stocked facility which offers a comprehensive collection of books covering everything from research to personal leisure. Books relating to the career fields of Cogswell's students are always being sought out for our collection, with additional materials being ordered all the time. Our selection of reserved books provides students easy access to short term checkouts of especially important items, like class textbooks. The Library can also obtain materials from other libraries and collections by means of interlibrary loan requests. We also maintain growing collections of additional media, including CDs, movies, magazines, video games, and the acclaimed Gnomon collection of DVD tutorials
One of the great advantages of our library is its close connection with our student population. Not only is it almost entirely staffed by current Cogswell students, but student requests for new books are always taken into consideration. If anyone is ever in need of something, our librarian and student library assistants are always there to help.
