Cogswell Student Worked on Animation Project in Amsterdam
Cogswell senior student, Nathan Vegdahl, was invited to Amsterdam, Netherlands to join a small specialized international team of 3D artists and developers to produce the animated short, open movie, Big Buck Bunny.

The film was sponsored by The Blender Foundation which seeks to give the worldwide Internet community access to 3D technology in general, with Blender software as a core. Nathan has been using the software since he was in high school.

Nathan worked primarily on character rigging and animation, but also animated props and environments and did some compositing. The movie was released online on June 2 and will be screened at a growing list of a dozen festivals and symposiums worldwide. It has had more than 200,000 viewings on You Tube since it’s release.
