This invitation-only production class is unique to Cogswell College. The course incorporates every component of animation film production for the big and small screen. The schedule mirrors a production companyŚlong hours, demanding deadlines and industry-leading software from Pixar. Project X students integrate all the disciplines of CG production including animation, modeling, texturing, effects, rigging, lighting, rendering, compositing and production management. Students quickly become 'studio-ready' through visits and access to some of the best artists in the business from companies including ILM, PDI/DreamWorks, Electronic Arts and Sony Pictures Image Works. Project X has created two award-winning animated shorts, The Offering and Worlds Apart.
