Robert Reese joined the Cogswell admissions team in 2008. In June, 2006 he earned a BA in English from Santa Clara University (SCU) in Santa Clara, California. His work in college counseling began as a college advisor for the University of California (Berkeley Campus) in 2006-07. Furthermore, he is a poet and his poems have appeared in the Monterey Journal, Authorizing Humanity, The Voice, Santa Clara Review, Drunken Boat, and in other journals. Reese holds a fellowship in the national African-American poetry organization, Cave Canem.
