Where is School-Sponsored Housing located?
Students are housed at five local apartment complexes: Eaves of Sunnyvale, Windsor Ridge, the Meadows, Windsor by Mission Pointe and the Montclaire. All five complexes offer 2 and 3 bedroom apartments in Sunnyvale. These complexes are no more than 5 miles from campus and 1 block from the 26 bus line that drops off at the corner of Bordeaux Drive. The stop is about a block and half from campus. The apartments have ample storage, assigned parking, pool, fitness room, washers and dryers in each apartment, and discounts to local attractions.
What's included in my housing fee & in the apartment?
Each student housing package consists of rent for the term (4 months); furniture (twin bed, dresser, nightstand, desk, sofa and chair, dining table with chairs, and lamps.); electricity (up to $100 per month); water and sewer; and an RA program (peer mentoring, free student activities, etc.). Students are responsible for making their own phone, internet, and cable TV arrangements.

What is the Cost of Student Housing?
Housing fees for each term are due at registration. The price for housing is $5,000 per semester if paying on a semester-by-semester basis or $4,000 per semester if paying for an entire year.
Eligible students are guaranteed a space in a shared room. Students with special concerns should inform the Housing Office when applying for student housing.
A $300 housing deposit is required of all housing students and must be sent in full with the housing application in order to reserve a space. If you are unable to provide this deposit at the time of application, please contact the Housing Office and a deferment may be arranged. This deposit will cover the student as long as they remain in housing, and will be used to cover cleaning and any damages to their apartment at the end of each term. Who is Eligible for Student Housing?
All students are eligible for student housing as long as you are enrolled in at least 9 credits in the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer housing is also available regardless if you are enrolled in summer classes but you must be registered for classes the upcoming Fall semester. In order to make the transition to college a little less stressful, Student Life offers housing for students at any time during your academic years at Cogswell.
