Alumni can offer great insight to current students by sharing their job search story. Opportunities to help students with their Career Development include:
- On Campus Recruiting. We will provide you with a table or a room in which to conduct 1st round interviews for any open positions you may have in your company/studio. This recruiting option is available throughout the year.
- Classroom Visits. Cogswell faculty welcome the opportunity to have alumni come into the classroom to discuss a job function, an organization, or industry.
- Campus Presentations. Students are always interested in hearing alumni speak about their career and employers. The Career Development Center staff can make all the arrangements for your presentation on campus.
- Career Development Workshops. Each month, the Career Development Center holds workshops on topics related to the job search. Students learn how to write a resume, how to create a demo reel, and how to interview. Alumni can choose a topic they would like to present and join one of these already scheduled workshops.
- Resume and Demo Reel Reviews. If your company does not have openings, you can still come to campus and give students feedback on their resume and demo reel. The Career Development staff can make all the arrangements.
