Logan Ames (2005) became the newest member of the Santa Cruz Games team in December.
Mike Apolis (2004) is an Associate Level Artist at Cryptic Studios Inc. and just shipped his first Triple-A game title, City of Villians.
Michael Arata (1989) is an adjunct instructor at ITT Technical College in Lathrop, CA in the Criminal Justice BA program and has his own security consulting practice. Michael has also written several books, “Preventing Identity Theft for Dummies,” “Perimeter Security” and “Construction Site Security.”
Robin Brabb (2000) is with the Fremont Fire Department on Engine 5 as Captain. Robin is the coordinator for their Hazardous Incident Team and the Public Education Coordinator. She recently took the Battalion Chief test and is on the promotional list.
Mike Bohatch (1999) has but one desire – to contribute to the fantastical and the realization of dark imagery – in the published genres of horror and the surreal. Colin Brown (2005) has currently returned to Cogswell to take Pat Hannaway’s Animiation 1 class in order to polish his demo reel.
Geoff Clark (1997) is an animator at Blue Shift, Inc. in Palo Alto.
Bob Deaver (1995) relocated from Portland – where he did character animation for Will Vinton Studios – to Tempe, AZ, where he is a senior instructor for the University of Advancing Technology, teaching CG modeling, animation, materials and rigging.
Nicklaus Deyring (2004) is a designer at the DMNA an advertising agency in Palo Alto, (www.dmna.com), and recently worked with Spansion on their very successful IPO event in New York.

Todd Hodges (2004) is DSP Group Engineer at Digidesign in Daly City – an industry leader in audio production for more than 20 years. Todd’s most recent project was the Dynamics 3 plug-in included with Pro Tools. He was listed with the other members of the team in a patent filed for a new kind of gain reduction meter used in the plug-in. He also purchased his first home this summer in Oakland.
Austin Ivansmith (2005) is one of the artists at GlobalVR in San Jose – a leading manufacturer of coin-operated video games – and is working on various top secret arcade titles.
Erik Jakobsen (2000) is lead environmental artist at Pandemic Studios in Los Angeles, one of the largest and most successful independent game developers in the world.
Andrew Langlois (2005) moved from an intern to staff position at Santa Cruz Games.
T. Mallie (2000) joined the Oakland Regional Offices of Kaiser Permanente HealthConnect – the largest civilian installation of electronic health records – in October 2005 as Special Projects Manager in Ambulatory.

Mike McMahon (2005) recently joined the UltraCade team.
Erik Pearson (2001) married fellow Cogswell alumna
Lyndsay (McGaw) Pearson (2002). Lyndsay is an Associate Producer on the Sims 2 at Electronic Arts. Erik works at Google.
Rachel Miura (1999) in addition to earning her Masters degree in Instructional Design as San Jose State, she is Producer for the Experience Design Group for Reactrix.

Greg Reisdorf (2003) and
Rachael Sass (2005) have wedding bells in their future as they plan to be married in August 2006. Rachael is currently managing the print and electronic collateral materials for Cogswell. Greg is a Designer for the Godfather at Electronic Arts.

Greg Smith (1999) has joined Stan Winston Studios and teamed with Colin Hodges (2002) in a student design challenge project at Cogswell in January.
Rich Schritter (2005) joined the Santa Cruz Games team – and a growing group of Cogswell alumni – in October.
Steve Sorensen (1997) is at PDI/DreamWorks Pictures and has worked on Madagascar as a Technical Resource Administrator. He is currently working on Shrek II as a Render Assistant.
Shawn Vadpey (1982) is a Lead Microwave Engineer for T-Mobile in Irvine, CA.
Tosh Xiong (2005) is editing a feature documentary narrated by Steven Seagal called, “Full Circle – The Epic Return to Trinity.” Current plans call for a summer 2006 worldwide release. To learn more about the project visit www.gndfund.org.
