Working On-Campus

There are many offices on campus that rely on student employees to be successful. You may apply for all open positions on campus with one application, which is available in Student Life. Check with Student Life each term as some positions come open for Spring and Summer as well as Fall.

Getting Hired

Once you have found a campus job that appeals to you and that supervisor has agreed to hire you, you must inform The Career Development Office.

Your next stop is Human Resources. Before you begin working, you will complete a New Hire Packet and, if necessary, a Federal Work Study Application. You may not begin working until all employment paperwork is completed! You will need to provide proof that you are able to work in this country (usually a driver’s license and a social security card or birth certificate, or a passport.)

Once hired, your new supervisor will provide training, review the Student Employee Manual, discuss expectations, and inform you of evaluations.
