New Student Orientation

Starting off right at Cogswell…

The transition into college can be an exciting, yet challenging endeavor. The purpose of orientation is to help new Cogswell students make this transition as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our goal is to answer all your questions, put your fears to rest and get you started on the right foot. You will learn about academic advising and programs of study, financial aid, student activities, services for students on campus, and much more. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow incoming students and current student leaders, and potentially make friendships that will last a lifetime.

Attendance at New Student Orientation is required by all students who are joining the Cogswell Community for the first time. Mathematics and English assessment exams will be administered. The Orientation meeting is considered the first session for the Cogswell Experience class in which all First Time students are enrolled.
