NEW STUDENT ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Digital Art and Animation (DAA) and Digital Audio Technology (DAT)
Satisfactory completion of:
- two years of high school mathematics, including algebra and geometry
- one year of a high school lab science
- three years of high school English to include composition and literature
High School GPA of 2.7 or higher
Placement tests in Mathematics and English composition prior to enrolling in classes
A
portfolio of artwork.
Digital Art Engineering (DAE), Computer Engineering (CPE) and Software Engineering (SWE)
Satisfactory completion of:
- three years of high school mathematics to include algebra, geometry and trigonometry
- one year of a high school lab science
- three years of high school English to include composition and literature
High School GPA of 2.7 or higher
Placement tests in Mathematics and English composition prior to enrolling in classes.
Applicants who feel they do not meet the minimum admissions requirements may contact the Office of Admissions for further assistance with their applications.
NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION
All applicants will receive an acknowledgement of their admission status within two weeks after their application is complete. Notification will include information regarding registration and Advising Days, Orientation and a Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) form. Students must return the SIR along with a $100 tuition deposit by July 1 for the Fall semester.
Shortly after receiving their acceptance packets, students will receive a Financial Aid Award letter. Students must sign and return their award by July 1 for the Fall semester.

Cogswell College reserves the right to revoke acceptance or continued enrollment if:
- any application materials are false or misrepresented,
- the student imposes any risk of to the health, safety or welfare of others or to him/herself,
- a student disrupts the orderly process of the College, or
- a student violates any policy outlined in the Student Handbook.
